Berlin as a Place of German History, Culture and Politics

Foreign students are invited to familiarize themselves with German and especially Berlin history, culture and politics. Through a variety of individual online projects, you get easily acquainted with the everyday life and rhythm of this exciting European city. The online projects are various smaller assignments that cover the most interesting areas/topics in this context and can be completed independently within one or two weeks. Furthermore, a written performance record in the form of a small research paper is expected.

After submitting the individual assignments, each student always receives a personal feedback and evaluation. The research paper will be extra graded.

All individual assignments with detailed descriptions (concerning implementation) are usually posted once a week on Moodle. In addition, online meetings will be held from time to time as well as excursions and/or visits to institutions (depending on the Corona situation and related restrictions).

The course will start on 21.10.2021. Please check Moodle platform at this day: A detailed course description with topics and a timetable as well as guidelines for grades and credit points will be communicated via Moodle then.
